Concerned baker – “It won’t stop at a price increase”

Kaisersemmel costs 49 cents instead of 44
Why the Kaisersemmel at the Pinzgau baker now costs “only” 49 cents instead of 44 cents has to do with the new building in Kaprun’s Gmachlstraße 7, which has received an award for energy efficiency from the state: “The old bakery dates from 1951, each oven consumed 20,000 liters of heating oil a year. Now we have a photovoltaic system, heat pump, efficient machines, drive electric cars. The furnaces use electricity instead of oil. In this way, 40 percent less energy is used,” explains the 42-year-old.
