Concert and interview – singer Feist invited to the progressive cultural evening

New form of home
“Since having my daughter, I see the world through different eyes. I used to love planting tomatoes, but then I went on tour and the vegetables died. But now I have watered them and cared for them and then harvested them. When I sit in the tour bus today and look out the window, I see single-family houses with large gardens and washing lines. I then imagine how nice it must be to take care of such a home. Up until now, I’ve always only taken care of the music.” In the meantime, she has almost given up her nomadism. She resides in Canada in the summer and in California in the winter. “Eventually that will shrink to one place,” she laughs, “but when I look at how I’ve lived the past few years, even two places feel like standing still.” With the ballads “Love Who We Are Meant Do” and the “Intuition” loudly sung by the fans, Feist ends a lavish evening of culture after more than two hours. A fair for your loyal indie fans, for those who are interested a trip of a different kind. If Feist wants, she is still the queen of her guild – now at peace with herself and the world.
