What’s better than a global star? The three of them! Apparently singer Mariah Carey (54) also thought that during her Christmas concert in New York’s Madison Square Garden last weekend. So it’s no Christmas wonder that the assembled audience cheered when pop stars Ariana Grande (30) and Jennifer Hudson (42) suddenly appeared on stage next to Carey.

“This is unexpected, but great. We have two Christmas angels here!” Carey announces to her surprise guests. Together, the trio then performed Carey’s hit “Oh Santa!” from their 2010 album “Merry Christmas II You”.

Among other things, Carey led the show in several sparkling silver dresses of different lengths. For her short appearance, Grande dressed in a red, off-the-shoulder mini dress that emphasized her petite figure. Hudson chose a black sequin dress for the occasion, which was an eye-catcher with its eye-catching feather look.

Even more Christmas angels supported them

But it didn’t stop with these two Christmas angels, as Carey had put it. During the glamorous concert, the singer received support from two people who mean the world to her: Carey’s twelve-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan. Her two children, who come from her ex-husband Nick Cannon (43), are often seen guests on stage alongside her famous mother. This time Carey sang the song “Merry Christmas One And All!” with Monroe.

Hardly any other US star represents the Christmas spirit as much as Maria Carey. Last year, thanks to her classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” even set a record: For the fourth year in a row, the 1994 song topped the hit list in December. So far, no other song has managed to take the top spot in four different years. It will soon be seen whether Carey can improve this record by another year in 2023.
