Ed Sheeran and Camila Cabello, among others, will perform at a major UK benefit concert on March 29th.

While the musical peace rally “Sound of Peace” has just taken place in Germany, a benefit concert entitled “Concert for Ukraine” will soon be broadcast in Great Britain. ITV will broadcast the charity event, which will also include fundraising, on March 29. The broadcaster has now announced the first musicianswho will be there.

Among others, the superstars Camila Cabello (25) and Ed Sheeran (31) will appear. The two recently presented their new song “Bam Bam” together. The band Snow Patrol, Emeli Sandé (35) and Gregory Porter (50) will also be seen at the two-hour concert. More acts are to be announced soon.

Donations to Disasters Emergency Committee

The proceeds from the benefit concert will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) – a coalition of several British non-profit organizations. Volunteers are on the ground in Ukraine and neighboring countries on behalf of the DEC to help those affected by the war with food, shelter and medical services, among other things.

On Sunday, meanwhile, numerous German-speaking stars performed in Berlin under the motto “Sound of Peace”. Sarah Connor (41), Peter Maffay (72), Marius Müller-Westernhagen (73) and Mark Forster (39) played in front of several thousand people at the peace concert.
