The young start-up Dizisoft, capable of connecting any type of machine, regardless of its age and manufacturer, has just been taken over by an industrial engineering giant, Fives.

The latter formalized, this Wednesday, February 22, the takeover of the young French company. Dizisoft propels a software suite that has the advantage of adapting to all industries, recent or not, removing a major obstacle from the perspective of global digitization. The transaction amount was not sent.

An innovative tool on the way to industrial digitization and reduction of energy consumption

A heavyweight in industrial engineering with an annual turnover of 2 billion euros and based in Paris, the Fives group, which made its reputation with its steam locomotives, its elevators installed in the Eiffel Tower and its engines of aircraft, therefore acquired Dizisoft (1.6 million euros in revenue). This young Isère start-up based in Villemoirieu has specialized since its creation in 2014 in industrial performance diagnostics.

It is the subsidiary of Fives, Fives CortX, created for ” meet the growing demand of its customers wishing to make the leap into the industry of the future which will benefit from the operation, when the group completed a record order book of 2.8 billion euros in 2022.

By acquiring Dizisoft, Fives will provide its customers with an innovative machine data collection and analysis tool. Among other things, it will allow them to reduce their energy consumption by up to 30% (one of the newest features of the solution), to predict maintenance problems, to improve the quality of their products and, ultimately, to improve their productivity.

A solution that can be connected to all machines and breaks down obstacles

In form, Dizisoft has developed a software solution called DiziScop, which aims to be the only one on the market that can be connected to all machines, regardless of their age and manufacturer, which allows wide deployment. This software ” removes a major obstacle faced by industrial groups in digitizing their mostly heterogeneous machine park says Fives.

Since 2014, Dizisoft has already installed its software on 275 industrial sites, with more than 1,600 licenses deployed. “ Today, we are joining the Fives group to continue deploying our solution to all manufacturers around the world. writes the start-up on its LinkedIn page.

The Dizisoft name will disappear with the takeover. Its teams will merge with those of Fives.
