Conor McGregor caused a stir at the MTV Video Music Awards. The MMA star took on Machine Gun Kelly.
Martial arts star Conor McGregor (33) caused a heated moment at the MTV Video Music Awards last Sunday (September 12). Photos show the grumpy-looking McGregor being kept in check by security guards. What happened? As reported by the US magazine “People”, the Irishman is said to have asked the musician Machine Gun Kelly (31) for a photo on the red carpet.
After the friend of Megan Fox (35) is said to have refused, McGregor, who had appeared at the gala with his partner Dee Devlin and in a bright pink jacket, reacted indignantly and shouted loudly. McGregor is also said to have flown a drink. Security and bodyguards had to hold him back.
A McGregor spokesman denies that the MMA star asked the musician for a picture. “Conor and Dee are sitting in their seats and enjoying the show. Conor appreciates all of his fans,” said the “People” representative during the award ceremony, adding that Machine Gun Kelly even “attended Conor’s last fight.” Later, the UFC fighter showed up on the stage. Visibly in a good mood again, he congratulated Justin Bieber (27) for his “Artist of the Year” award.
