Conscious tactic? – Closure of district court: awaiting response

Shortly after plans to close the bilingual district courts in Carinthia became known, National Councilor Christian Ragger (FP) submitted a parliamentary question. To date, however, one has waited in vain for an answer from Justice Minister Alma Zadić. Critics point to a deliberate delaying tactic.

About a month ago – on April 5th – Christian Ragger and his Viennese colleague Harald Stefan submitted the parliamentary question about the planned closure of the Carinthian district courts. A total of seventeen points are to be answered by Minister of Justice Alma Zadić. Those familiar with the matter see a deliberate delaying tactic here. Probably the most exciting question: “Can you therefore repeatedly confirm that there are no concrete implementation plans for a closure?” remaining questions, but it could still take some time. Because Zadić has until June 5 to provide information in writing. Those familiar with the matter see this as a deliberate delaying tactic. “It allows the assumption that one would like to deliberately let grass grow over the matter here,” says a justice insider in the “Krone” interview. The sword of Damocles is still hanging over the three bilingual district courts.
