Constance Wu has made massive allegations against one of the “Fresh Off the Boat” producers. He is said to have sexually harassed her on set.
Was Constance Wu (40) sexually harassed on the set of “Fresh Off the Boat”? The US actress has now appeared at the “The Atlantic Festival” of the magazine of the same name massive allegations against one of the producers. However, Wu did not mention a name in the conversation. At the time she was silent because she felt uncomfortable in this situation and she didn’t want to tarnish the reputation of the series. In her book “Making a Scene”, which is now on the market, this is addressed.
Over time, she realized that it was important to talk about it. It was a traumatic experience for her. It was only when the success of the series played in that she had the courage to say “no” to the harassment and intimidation. In tears, Wu went on to say in the interview that she later decided to go into therapy and now “ultimately feels better because of it.”

Wu first came to wider audiences on the web series EastSiders and starred in the hit sitcom Fresh Off the Boat from 2015-2020. There she embodied one of the main characters in all the episodes produced. She made her final international breakthrough in 2019 thanks to her leading role alongside Jennifer Lopez (53) in “Hustlers”.
Since then she has withdrawn more and more from the public. In June 2022, Wu explained on her social media that she was taking a conscious break and had already attempted suicide. A shitstorm after a thoughtless tweet almost cost her her life. A friend brought her to the emergency room and saved her. So far, there has been no reaction to the allegations from the creators of the “Fresh Off the Boat” series.
