Constellation Brands: 30% increase in EPS in the 4th quarter


(CercleFinance.com) – Constellation Brands announces for its last quarter of 2021-22 an EPS up 30% to 2.37 dollars on a comparable basis (2.55 dollars excluding Canopy), and an operating profit up by 17% to $659 million.

Still on a comparable basis, the alcoholic beverages group saw its turnover increase by 8% to 2.1 billion, a 14% growth for its beer sales having more than offset a 7% decline for its wines and spirits.

Posting for the whole of the past financial year, a comparable EPS of 10.20 dollars (+5% to 10.99 dollars excluding Canopy), Constellation Brands declares to anticipate it between 11.20 and 11.50 dollars for its year accountant 2022-23.
