337 votes for, 23 against. The deputies expressed themselves favorably this Thursday on the bill of France Insoumise to constitutionalize abortion. Guest of Europe morning this Friday, the vice-president of the Renaissance group in the National Assembly and deputy for Paris, welcomed this progress for women’s rights in France.
Prevent this “symbolic right” from being called into question
“Look at what is happening in the world”, alarms the Parisian deputy. “We have talked a lot about the United States, but look at what is happening in Europe, especially in Hungary, Poland, now in Italy. Referendum

Finally, if the Parliament is in favor of this constitutional revision, the ratification of the latter can only be done by referendum, since the proposal for registration comes from a party sitting in Parliament, and not from the executive.
