Control: A second opus confirmed by Remedy Entertainment – Control


In 2019, Remedy Entertainment released the very first installment of their new IP, control. Appreciated by players and rather well received by the specialized press, the title benefited from ports on PS5 and Xbox Series, in 2021. However, the license is again talking about it, today.

Control 2 is in development

Indeed, Remedy Entertainment recently confirmed thata second opus was currently in development. To be more precise, Control 2 (formerly codenamed “Codename Heron”) is co-developed and co-published by licensing development studio Alan Wake and 505 Games.

On this subject, in a recent article published on the official website, the director of the franchise Control, Mikael Kasurinen, said:

[…] With Control, we have ventured into the unknown. We wanted to create something new. Something different and unexpected. A world like no other. Thank you, audience, for making Control such a success for us.

With Control 2, we will take another leap into the unknown. It will be an unexpected journey. That [nous] will take some time but the least I can say is that this is the most exciting project I have ever worked on […]
