How the pricing table works
To make its Cookeo a star of our work plans, Moulinex applies its miracle recipe to the letter: a personal assistant that accompanies the user in making preparations of all kinds. To do this, the multicooker offers the cook several cooking methods and several recipes, with fun step-by-step instructions for amateurs or beginners.
Upgrading over the years
Then launched in 2012, the first version embeds six cooking modes. The appliance can brown, simmer, steam, keep warm or delay the start of cooking. The pressure cooker also offers 50 recipes, all of which are already integrated into the Cookeo. This is a detail that is very important, because the following versions differ on this point, among other things. The number of integrated recipes is only increasing with the new models: 100 for the 2017 Cookeo Connect, 180 for the 2019 Cookeo+ and 200 for the Cookeo+ Connect also released in 2019.
But if there is a model that stands out, it is the Cookeo Touch Wifi inaugurated in 2020. The latter even marks a considerable break with its predecessors. It is the first to offer not six, but 13 cooking programs including a “browning” mode and another “ultra-rapid”. It is above all the first to offer more than 8,000 recipes on its 4.3-inch touch screen. Indeed, while the old models can accommodate a USB key, be connected via Bluetooth or to the Moulinex “My Cookeo” application, the Cookeo Touch Wifi goes further. It is the only one in the range that can be connected to Wi-Fi. It therefore benefits from 250 offline recipes, but several thousand once connected thanks to the contribution of the Moulinex community.
Cookeo: the recipe for success
In all, these are therefore more than three million copies sold in 10 years. The objective of the multicooker is clear: to make life easier for its users in the kitchen. 98% of them believe that the device has saved them time in the kitchen. Another interesting point is that a large proportion of users have taken up cooking thanks to Cookeo (75%) and now prefer homemade (89%).
The number of recipes (virtually unlimited for some models) and the autonomy left to the appliance therefore make it possible to make dishes that are sometimes set aside because of their complexity. But Moulinex also plays on the versatility of its device. The manufacturer indeed offers several accessories, such as a steam basket or cake pans, which are also delivered with the Cookeo+ Connect Grameez. The Extra Crisp, on the other hand, offers new ways of cooking with the multicooker. This additional lid allows healthy roasting, grilling and frying of food, like an oil-free fryer.

How the pricing table works
If technology can be at the service of better eating, then there is no reason to deprive yourself. This is certainly what explains the success of the Cookeo, available from €220 on the Moulinex site.
For those still put off by the price, Moulinex recently released an alternative: the Turbo Cuisine. This screenless multicooker does without integrated recipes and only has a simple digital display, accompanied by buttons giving access to a manual mode and nine programs. Its tank, with a capacity of 4.8 l, is smaller than that of the Cookeo (6 l), but it should not be an obstacle to the creativity of cooks. If the Turbo Cuisine benefits from a more affordable price placement, it does not necessarily ignore the accessories. The device comes with a steam basket, a measuring cup, a ladle and a rice spoon. The Turbo Cuisine & Fry version, on the other hand, competes with the Extra Crisp since it is offered with a bonus Air-Fry Turbo Crisp lid, allowing you to fry, roast and grill food. The first reference is available from €160, while the second is on sale at €290.
