Inspired by the success of the Pariente brothers, founders of Naf Naf, another sibling is trying to impose its mark. Copain-Copine – renamed Cop.Copine – was founded in 1986 by Alain and Léon Nadélian. With its quirky cuts and colorful prints, the young shoot is shaking up the codes of clothing. And it worked: Cop.Copine mesh tops and leggings became 90s bestsellers.

Over the following decades, the brand tried to resist, as best they could, competition from fast-fashion. But 2023 will sound the death knell for this 37-year-old adventure.
