USB4 Version 2.0 in Windows 11 promises blazing transfer speeds
Indeed, USB4 Version 2.0 is present in the latest Windows 11 Build Preview 23615. This is a pre-release version of Microsoft’s operating system that was released on January 11, 2024. It is intended for Insiders registered in the Dev channel, who receive the most recent and experimental updates. The adoption of this new USB standard is suitable for two distinct uses. On the one hand, data-intensive applications provide rapid access to storage devices. And on the other hand to very high resolution displays. In addition, it is backward compatible with previous generations of USB and Thunderbolt standards.
In parallel with USB4 Version 2.0, Windows 11 is enriched with several other technical features.
