Regarding the story, we find ourselves immersed in a cave, after an exploration mission gone wrong. You will then have to explore it to discover its mysteries and get out. To do this, you will have to equip yourself with a pickaxe and dig to discover countless resources in the huge cave that serves as your home, and use them to create other tools, equipment and anything that can be useful to you in your survival.
Core Keeper offers several features that we find in Minecraft, Terraria, Valheim or Stardew Valley, although it offers a unique experience. In a procedurally generated world, you will have to find out everything on your own, since no indications are present. Agriculture, cooking, construction (and destruction) or even fighting are the main lines of Core Keeper.
Even if the experience is quite relaxing, it is nonetheless dangerous. To progress in your adventure, you will indeed have the obligation to beat certain mobs, and several bosses. It will therefore be necessary to have prepared these encounters well beforehand, by having crafted quality armor and weapons.
In short, we are dealing with a nice open world (underground), where the possibilities are numerous. Its success can be explained in particular because it is a pleasant game, without the fuss, with an extremely simple appearance, but with real mechanics and things to learn. It perfectly mixes several genres, and should be one of the games that will be successful in the coming months, since it will be embellished with content updates, until its final release.
