Theresa Tam, the head of the Canadian Public Health Agency. She thinks that mask protection makes sense if you have sex with someone who does not live in the same household or belongs to a risk group. To be on the safe side, you should avoid kissing and touching your face.
Is that serious?
Yes, absolutely, scientists at Harvard Medical School also advise wearing a mask during sex. They also recommend us (this is of course not a requirement!): No kisses, shower before and after sex and disinfect the area nicely. Everything is fine so far?

Yes, wearing mouth and nose protection in the prescribed areas of public life makes perfect sense. But during sex? You are right to ask yourself: Does the whole thing make sense at all? No kissing, no other intimacy with the mouth, no touching the face … to be honest: That is somehow a very absurd idea. You might consider limiting your sexual contacts in general during the pandemic, right?
