Corona crisis: Silbermond singer with song from her closet

Just recently, Silbermond ("Light luggage") released their song "Let's make the best of it" for a good cause in the Corona crisis. According to their front woman Stefanie Kloß (35), the band used unconventional recording methods. As the singer told the radio station "MDR Jump", she recorded the vocals for the song in her closet – the Silbermond musicians played the individual instruments separately in their private apartments due to the corona contact restrictions.

Kloß was urged by her partner and guitarist Thomas Stolle (36) to the highly unusual insert in the replacement singing booth. "Of course, Thomas still wants to get the best out of the situation in terms of sound and then said that the best sound would be in the closet. And me like this: Are you serious? Yes, and then I was in the closet," revealed the 35-year-old in an interview with "MDR Jump".

"Little boy" sparks in between

According to the German musician, the real problem would not have been the closet, but her two-year-old son. Her child and Stolle apparently sparked several times in between. "We used every second in which we were not chatted in," said the singer and continued: "Small tots have a strong problem if it is not one hundred percent. It took a relatively long time this time, sing a song. " By the way, Silbermond want to donate all the income from their Corona song to "Die Tafel Deutschland" to support those in need in the crisis.
