The corona virus makes going out and vacation impossible. Thanks to TV and streaming services, it doesn't have to be boring in your own four walls. Books bring even more variety home. These works are now worthwhile:

"The Rosie Result" by Graeme Simsion

If you just want to smile, you can take on the "Rosie Project": Volume three, "The Rosie Result", will be published here on March 25th. Don Tillman returns to Australia with his wife Rosie and son Hudson. There, the eleven-year-old Hudson struggles to find a connection. His father knows only too well from his own experience what it means to be an outsider and to be labeled as a know-it-all. Don wants to help his son, but as usual, things are going differently than planned. And there are also new professional challenges. All fans of Don can look forward to new stories from his life, all newcomers should start with the first two novels.

"Mirror and Light" by Hilary Mantel

Another third volume that many fans of historical novels are particularly looking forward to: Hilary Mantel is closing her Tudor trilogy with "Spiegel und Licht". It tells of the last years of Thomas Cromwell's life, whom Henry VIII made his most important confidante. But the king also likes to turn away from his followers and preferred women. And that usually ends badly for them.

"The Guardians" by John Grisham

John Grisham also promises excitement. In "The Guardians" the bestselling author takes the readers to Florida, where a young lawyer is shot. A mysterious case without traces, witnesses and motive. Nevertheless, Quincy Miller, a young African American who used to be one of the lawyer's clients, is arrested. He is sentenced to death and has been in prison for 22 years. A request for help brings Cullen Post into play, who looks at the case again – and is therefore in great danger.

"Flared" by Michael Tsokos

Thrills are also delivered by the new true crime thriller "Flared". Michael Tsokos sends his legal doctor Paul Herzfeld to Itzehoe. There his predecessor dies in pathology. Herzfeld starts investigations on her own and that puts a killer on his track.

"Three Women" by Lisa Taddeo

The book "Three Women" by Lisa Taddeo has become an international bestseller. The author traces the stories of Lina, Maggie and Sloane, three Americans with different walks of life. They tell of their experiences with blows of fate, men, relationships, affairs and abuse. And women around the world can't help but feel with them.
