Corona crisis: This is how the pregnant stars pass the time

Lena Gercke, Angelina Heger, Sarah Harrison: Numerous celebrity women are currently expecting a child. A look at their social media channels reveals how they are doing in the era of the coronavirus pandemic and how they are dealing in their home four walls.

Angelina Heger is concerned

The former "Bachelor" candidate and today's influencer Angelina Heger (28) spends the time of self-isolation with her fiance, Sebastian Pannek (33). The two, who will be welcoming their son to the world in a few weeks – Heger is eight months pregnant – are enjoying the warm spring days on the terrace. As he scrubs and cleans, she trains the dog. She also finds time for short yoga sessions and baking banana bread.

Nevertheless, the 28-year-old plagues an open question: may Pannek, the "Bachelor" from 2017, be in the delivery room as soon as it is ready? The professional association of gynecologists e.V. and the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics e.V. write: "In many maternity hospitals, an accompanying person is currently admitted to the birth. However, this assessment can change at any time."

Ann-Kathrin Götze and Sarah Harrison clean up

Ann-Kathrin Götze, who has been dating soccer professional Mario Götze (27) since 2012 and has been married since 2018, is expecting youngsters for the first time. She is seven months pregnant and gives insights into her everyday life on Instagram. She seems to have plenty of time to let off steam with her culinary delights. For example, the 30-year-old presents her followers with delicious grilled food or juicy pancakes. What else she tackles: the restyling of the apartment.

The same obviously applies to Sarah Harrison (28). The influencer, who is looking forward to daughter number two with her husband Dominic Harrison (28), is busy cleaning up and mucking out. A new dressing room is planned. In addition, the ex-"Bachelor" candidate, who is currently in her 22nd week of pregnancy, does sports, watches series, plays with daughter Mia (2) and provides her fans with new input on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.

Lena Gercke and Anna-Maria Zimmermann enjoy the sun

Model Lena Gercke will also be a mother for the first time in 2020. Compared to some other couples, she and Dustin Schöne, the child's father, keep their private lives a little more out of the public eye. How the 32-year-old is doing during her pregnancy is therefore not known. In her Instagram pictures, which she regularly posts, the infamous Glow cannot be overlooked. Among other things, what is on the isolation plan of the expectant mother: breakfast in bed, home workouts and bike tours.

Pop singer Anna-Maria Zimmermann also moves a lot in the fresh air ("The dance floor is on fire"). The 31-year-old is currently pregnant with her second child, who is due to see the light of day in August. Until then, she spends intensive time with her son Matti (born 2017) and her husband Christian Tegeler. The release of their new album was postponed until June due to the Corona crisis.

Barbara Meier and Katy Perry retire

US stars Katy Perry (35, "Roar") and model Barbara Meier keep track of their pregnancies. The latter announced in mid-February that she and husband Klemens Hallmann were expecting their first child. It should be born this summer. No further information is known. The 33-year-old is also rather reserved on Instagram. Sometimes she reads a book, sometimes she presents her baking skills.

And Perry also shows little through. Last Saturday, she revealed with a picture of her sweetheart and father of her child, actor Orlando Bloom (43), that the couple was looking forward to a girl.

Is the corona virus dangerous for pregnant women?

Pregnant women are generally not in the risk group, unless they have previous medical conditions. According to the professional association of gynecologists and the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics, it is expected that "the vast majority" will show "only mild or moderate symptoms similar to a cold or flu" when infected.

There are no indications of an increased risk of miscarriages. Neither does "the fact that the virus can be transmitted to the baby during pregnancy. It is therefore considered unlikely that the virus will lead to abnormalities in the fetus."
