Corona current: Children's birthday with 100 guests dissolved

The corona situation is getting worse – but not all people seem to be sticking to the measures. Now the police had to break up a children's birthday party with 100 guests.

Since today, November 2nd, the corona measures have been tightened again in Germany. The reason for this lies in the increasing number of infections, which are currently setting new negative records every week. The corona virus is spreading rapidly in society again.

Despite Corona: Children's birthday with over 100 guests

That is why what should actually sound familiar to people applies: Social contacts should be reduced to a minimum again. Meetings are only allowed between two households. Although the measures have already been practiced from the first lockdown, society seems to be finding it difficult to get used to them this time as well: Now the police have broken up a children's birthday party with over 100 people.

The police operation took place on Friday afternoon in Munich. As reported by the Bild newspaper, among others, over 100 guests are said to have gathered there in a restaurant. The first birthday of a child was celebrated – only that such events in Bavaria were already prohibited on Friday. The family didn't seem to mind.

Although the catering trade was still open for the weekend – such large celebrations were already prohibited. In Bavaria, a maximum of ten people from a maximum of two households are allowed to meet. With over 100 participants, the family celebration was clearly beyond the scope.

Report against the organizer and the local

For this reason, the police finally canceled the children's birthday party on Friday afternoon. All guests had to leave the restaurant without exception.

Now there is a threat of consequences for the organizers and shop owners: All parties are reported to have been reported.

In addition to care homes and the workplace, private celebrations in particular have recently turned out to be corona hotspots. After several events by families and friends, outbreaks have been reported repeatedly in recent weeks.
