Corona current: State overview: How and when will I be vaccinated?

The first corona vaccinations were distributed. But how do I even find out when and where I will be vaccinated? We give the state overview.

The first vaccination against the corona virus was reported in Germany on Saturday: A 101-year-old woman from a nursing home in Saxony-Anhalt received the first dose. The vaccinations have started nationwide since Sunday.

Who can be vaccinated against the coronavirus and when was determined in a vaccination schedule. First it is the turn of risk groups and their contact persons in the medical field. But even if you have found one of the vaccination categories, many people are currently asking: Yes, and how do I get the vaccination?

Who is informed about the corona vaccination, when and how, or who receives a vaccination appointment, is regulated differently in each federal state. There is currently no uniform strategy – however, many federal states have already commented on their plans. ZDF and RTL provide an overview (as of December 28, 2020).

The following applies to all federal states: First of all, people who have a particularly high risk of a severe course of Covid-19 are vaccinated. You can read the vaccination prioritization at the Federal Ministry of Health. Until then: be patient. Because it will be a while before enough vaccine will be available for everyone. It is all the more important that we continue to adhere to the measures to contain the corona pandemic – after all, the end is in sight.
