The officials at the Carinthian borders need good eyesight: An immigrant was caught with fake corona tests again! The 29-year-old man from Bosnia, who lives in Slovenia, wanted to drive to Carinthia via the Grablach border crossing on All Saints’ Day – and showed the officials what was supposed to be a test from a Slovenian institute. The inspectors immediately unmasked the form as a total forgery. They also found nine other fakes on the man’s cell phone!
Passenger created fake tests
The Bosnian has been using the forgeries when entering Austria at least since mid-September – namely, he works in Vorarlberg. He had received the fakes from a friend via a messenger app. After some hesitation, his co-driver – a 27-year-old Bosnian – admitted that she had created the fakes herself. When questioned, she confessed to having made the fakes in her apartment in Slovenia – for the man and for herself.
