The "Gilmore Girls" are a television phenomenon. All seven seasons and the four extra episodes of "A New Year" are currently available on Netflix. The mother-daughter duo Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) Gilmore have a very special bond. Single parent Lorelai, pregnant at 16, broke away from her wealthy parents to raise Rory without their influence. But when her intelligent and inquisitive daughter has the opportunity to attend a renowned private school, Lorelai needs the help of her parents.
