A 68-year-old in the Baden-Württemberg community of Oberteurigen (D) not far from the border with Vorarlberg had a pretty bad idea on Wednesday: The man who should have been in quarantine and also had symptoms of corona disease was very drunk with his Bicycle on the way in the village.
Clearly intoxicated and despite the existing quarantine requirement, a cyclist was out and about in the center of Oberteurigen (D) on Wednesday afternoon. After information from the population led to the identification of the man, the 68-year-old was visited by the police at home, and a breath alcohol test showed a value of almost two per thousand. Since the man showed clear signs of corona disease, a blood sample was not taken and he is now receiving reports of drunkenness in traffic and violating the Infection Protection Act.
