Coronavirus: China reduces quarantine period for foreign travelers

BEIJING, June 28 (Reuters) – China will halve to seven days the quarantine period for foreign visitors, with an additional three days spent at home, the country’s health authorities said on Tuesday.

This change was introduced in the National Health Commission’s latest directive on measures to combat COVID-19.

After seven days of stay in centralized facilities, travelers will be subject to three days of medical observation at home, compared to seven previously. (Report Roxanne Liu and Ryan Woo; French version Dagmarah Mackos)
