CONTAMINATIONS
This Saturday, February 12, 118,611 new cases were recorded in 24 hours according to Public Health France (against 131,376 the day before). The decrease in contamination is confirmed.
HOSPITALIZATIONS
Hospitalizations for Covid remain stable with a total of 31,522 patients currently in hospital (compared to 31,939 the day before).
In critical care services, there were 3,324 patients this Saturday (compared to 3,371 the day before).
DEATHS
161 people have died in hospital in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of people who have died from Covid since the start of the pandemic to 134,697.
THE VACCINATION
On the vaccination front, 54.1 million people have received at least one injection (80.3% of the total population) and 53.0 million are fully vaccinated (78.7% of the population). 37.7 million people received a booster dose.
