Coronavirus in France: the results of this Sunday, January 23

CONTAMINATIONS

This Sunday, January 23, 301,614 contaminations were recorded in 24 hours.

HOSPITALIZATIONS

In the hospital, the number of Covid patients was 28,838 this Sunday, against 28,515 yesterday Saturday. 1,094 new patients have been admitted in the past 24 hours.

Critical care services had 3,760 Covid-19 patients this Sunday (with 143 new entries), compared to 3,746 on Saturday.

DEATHS

In 24 hours, 115 people succumbed to Covid-19 in hospital, bringing the total death toll to 128,629 (hospitals and nursing homes included) since the start of the epidemic.

THE VACCINATION

While the vaccination pass comes into force on Monday, 53,813,666 people have received at least one injection (i.e. 79.8% of the total population) and 52,479,166 people have a complete vaccination schedule (77.8% of the total population ). In addition, 33,830,125 people received a booster dose.
