Coronavirus in France: the results of this Tuesday, January 18

CONTAMINATIONS

This Tuesday, January 18, 464,769 contaminations were recorded in 24 hours.

HOSPITALIZATIONS

In the hospital, the number of Covid patients was 26,526 on Tuesday, against 25,776 yesterday Monday. 3,509 new patients have been admitted in the past 24 hours.

Critical care services had 3,881 Covid-19 patients on Tuesday (with 367 new entries), compared to 3,913 on Monday.

DEATHS

In 24 hours, 289 people succumbed to Covid-19 in hospital, bringing the total death toll to 127,554 (hospitals and nursing homes included) since the start of the epidemic.

THE VACCINATION

On the vaccination side, more than 53.6 million people received at least one injection, i.e. 79.6% of the total population and 92.9% of the eligible population (+12 years). 52.3 million French people have a complete vaccination schedule, i.e. 77.5% of the total population and 90.7% of the eligible population.
