Coronavirus in France: the results of this Tuesday, January 25

CONTAMINATIONS

This Tuesday, January 25, 501,165 contaminations were recorded in 24 hours.

HOSPITALIZATIONS

At the hospital, the number of Covid patients was 30,189 on Tuesday, against 29,748 yesterday. 2,800 new patients have been admitted in the past 24 hours.

Critical care services had 3,741 Covid-19 patients on Tuesday (with 291 new entries), compared to 3,776 on Monday.

DEATHS

In 24 hours, 251 people succumbed to Covid-19 in hospital, bringing the total death toll to 129,489 (hospitals and nursing homes included) since the start of the epidemic.

THE VACCINATION

While the vaccination pass came into effect on Monday, 53,816,610 people received at least one injection (i.e. 79.8% of the total population) and 52,480,959 people have a complete vaccination schedule (77.9% of the total population). In addition, 33,855,852 people received a booster dose.
