The prosecution has ruled in the case of corruption and fraud charges against Neymar and the other defendants, in the case of alleged irregularities around the transfer of the player from the player to the Barcelona football club. The court dropped all charges.
The prosecution on Friday withdrew all charges of corruption and fraud against Neymar and the other defendants in the trial being held in Barcelona over alleged irregularities surrounding the player’s transfer to Barca in 2013.
In a twist, the prosecutor announced “withdraw the charge against all the defendants and for all the facts” with which they are accused. The prosecution had initially requested two years in prison and a fine of 10 million euros against Neymar, Brazilian star of the round ball.
