THE PC cases intended for gamers often try to combine compactness and vast configuration options. Squaring the circle, in short.

Whether Carbide or Obsidian, Corsair cases have carved out a very good reputation. Chances are the 2000D series will follow suit.

RGB for the fans… all the “fans”

Through a rather precise press release and the establishment of product pages on its official website, Corsair has unveiled this 2000D series which will therefore initially have two models.

On one side we have the 2000D Airflow, and on the other the 2000D RGB Airflow. The only difference between the two products obviously lies in the presence of RGB lighting on the second version. To do this, Corsair has integrated three AF120 RGB Slim fans into its machine. Placed on the front face, they breathe air inside the case.

They each have 8 LEDs configurable by the Corsair iCUE software, and as their name suggests, they are very thin (15 mm). The idea is of course to free up space inside the case.

RTX 4000 and 360mm watercooling compatible

Indeed, the 2000D series is characterized by its compactness. The space occupied on the “floor” is only 271 x 200 mm. Its total volume is 24.4 liters due to a height of 458 mm. This is not there for nothing and ensures the compatibility of the case with the longest graphics cards.

Indeed, Corsair insists on the possibility of integrating any GeForce RTX 4000, specifying that you can insert cards up to 365 mm. In addition, the great height of the 2000D offers compatibility with water cooling radiators up to 360 mm. Again, this leaves a very large choice and good options for processor selection.

This processor will however have to take place on a mini-ITX motherboard, an essential format to achieve such a low occupation of the office. In total, the 2000D can accommodate up to 6 x 120mm fans, and its walls are “mesh” on all sides to maximize airflow. Please note that the power supply will necessarily be an SFX or SFX-L.

Finally, note that the front panel includes 1 USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, 2 USB-A 3.0 ports and a combined 3.5 mm jack audio connector. Two colors are available (white and black), while the price is set at 124.9 and 169.9 euros respectively for the 2000D and 2000D RGB.
