Regularly cited among the best brands of “high performance” memory modules, Corsair was among the first to offer DDR5 kits, the Dominator Platinum RGB that it is developing today.
6600MHz and CL32
Indeed, the American has just announced the immediate availability, in limited quantities however, of the kits baptized Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 6600 MHz to complete the versions in DDR5-6000, DDR5-6200 and DDR5-6400.
As you can imagine, the idea here is to further push the frequencies of these already very fast bars for even higher speeds. Corsair stresses, however, that the timings have not been neglected and advances from 32-39-39-76 for this last kit.
Better timings are an answer to the latency issues faced by DDR5. However, such kits, from Corsair and from the competition, are overpriced. Count nearly 500 euros for 2 x 16 GB of the Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 6600 MHz.
