  • Counter-Strike 2 has a new Premier Mode.
  • There have already been various adjustments for this.
  • Among other things, you can now take three time-outs per round.

Counter-Strike 2 is currently in a closed test phase, for which Valve keeps sending out new beta additions. During this testing phase, the development studio continually unveiled innovations, such as the new ranking system for Premier Mode.

Apparently Valve is not yet satisfied with the new mode, which is why the development team has already made changes to it in further updates. For example, the waiting time in Premier mode has already fallen from five to two minutes.

In addition to the shortened waiting time, there are other adjustments for the tactical timeouts in the game. While in Counter-Strike Global Offensive you can take a tactical time-out of two minutes per team, in the successor title it is possible to use up to three tactical time-outs during regular playing time.

You also have the option to take additional time off during a possible extension. Another change in the updates concerns the voting process for tactical timeouts and surrenders.

Voting procedures for tactical timeouts and surrenders

As Reddit user Ok_Baseball_2857 reports, there is said to be a bug that allows a single player to abandon the game by surrendering when there are only four players left on the team.

As seen in the update news, Valve appears to have fixed this issue. The development studio has probably modified the voting rules so that a majority is again required to bring about a surrender or a timeout.

In addition to these changes, Valve has also fixed an annoying bug and reintroduced a well-known mode. In addition, there are also hidden modifications to certain features that could have fatal consequences for players.
