  • An infamous boost spot is said to have returned in Counter-Strike 2.
  • This is located on Bomb Page A of Vertigo.
  • Valve removed this spot from CS:GO back then.

In Counter-Strike 2 you have a variety of strategies at your disposal to gain the upper hand in the game. In addition to the use of jump throws, there are also various boost spots that can offer you advantageous shooting angles at your opponents.

A particular boost spot on the Vertigo map has already sparked discussions about its legitimacy in CS:GO tournaments in 2022. Valve then removed it from the game. However, according to a report from X user (formerly Twitter) JosiahCSGO, this spot exists again in Counter-Strike 2.

To reach this location, you need two players, similar to CS:GO. One of the players climbs onto the other’s head behind the sandbags on the A spot. The top player then slowly moves to the opposite edge, where they can then hide behind the wall.

This spot gives you an excellent view of bomb side A while keeping you well hidden. Since Counter-Strike 2 is currently still in a testing phase for which Valve is actively sending out beta access again, it is currently unclear whether the development team will remove this boost spot again.

Until an official announcement from Valve, you can get more details about the upcoming shooter from us. Among other things, we give you insights into the ranking system of the new Premier mode as well as the map-specific ranks in competitive mode.
