  • There appears to be a problem with hitboxes in Counter-Strike 2.
  • The real hitboxes should be a few centimeters next to the displayed ones.
  • Valve has not yet commented on this issue.

In Counter-Strike 2, countless players have reported various problems since the beta phase began in March. In addition to settings that are supposed to lead to extreme input lag, players have already noticed that the servers continue to operate at 64 ticks.

Some players have already used this fact as a reason to explain why certain shots miss their target. However, another problem has now emerged which could be the main reason for this.

Problem displaying hitboxes

According to X user (formerly Twitter) Joleksu, Counter-Strike 2 is currently having trouble displaying hitboxes. This problem occurs especially when a player is looking down with a knife or the bomb in hand.

In his video he shows that the real hitboxes are a few centimeters away from the displayed hitboxes. In a competitive shooter like Counter-Strike 2, such a problem naturally causes excitement among fans.

X user FURIOUSSScs has already asked Valve to make Counter-Strike Global Offensive available again until this problem is resolved. However, Valve is unlikely to respond to this demand.

Feedback from Valve

So far there is no official statement from the development studio on this topic. However, since Valve is currently often releasing updates in which the development studio also fixes old bugs, it can be assumed that Valve will address this problem in an upcoming update.

Until then, we’ll give you an insight into the important console commands for training on an offline server and explain how to transfer your settings from CS:GO to the new shooter.
