Mikl-Leitner describes the Greens as “political fringes”
Lower Austria’s head of state spoke on Sunday in a statement sent to Kogler of a “careless choice of words” that would confirm her assessment: “The political fringes are becoming louder and more extreme. Those who stand in the middle are denounced by the right as left and by the left as right – now even as fascist. Because you are supposedly not allowed to say that at a time when the political fringes are becoming increasingly radical, you want to, yes have to, give the silent majority of normal-thinking people a strong voice FPÖ.
