The Sussex (GB) police received a call on Monday: In a car in Southwick there are supposedly two dogs in a car that is in the blazing sun – and that at 25 degrees! As it turns out, the animals belong to a family that treats itself to breakfast in a café and annoys the staff in the restaurant, writes “The Sun”.
According to the owner of the café, the family ordered and consumed an extensive breakfast for around 130 francs at the counter. After that, however, they would have asked for their money back, because: There should have been hair in the food.
But what annoys the owner of the restaurant most of all is that the guests stole from her and her employees. Regarding “Mail Online” she says: “When an employee was distracted while ordering, the couple took advantage of the situation and secretly simply used the fridge next door.”
But that’s not all – the mother doesn’t even stop at the tip: the surveillance camera in the café shows how she is also – supposedly unnoticed – helping herself with the tips of the employees!
Meanwhile, there are family dogs in the car
During this whole incident, the two family dogs are in the car, which is at 25 degrees in the blazing sun.
Passers-by watch the suffering animals in the vehicle and call the police, who drive on site and first try to locate the owners of the four-legged friends.
When this does not succeed, the officers see no other way out than smash the window of the car.
No insight from the owners
According to the British animal welfare association, the temperature in the vehicle can rise to 47 degrees within an hour, even if the outside temperature is only 22 degrees, continues “The Sun”.
Nevertheless, there is no insight from the other side, on the contrary. “I was only gone ten minutes,” the woman is said to have claimed.
The good news, however, is: The dogs are fine again, as thanks to the broken window pane they have not only got fresh air, but also water. (une)
