The second man placed in police custody on Wednesday in the investigation into the disappearance of a couple in Deux-Sèvres at the end of November was indicted for murder and remanded in custody, the prosecution announced on Friday. He is also prosecuted for “”modification of the inventory of a crime to obstruct the manifestation of the truth” and kidnapping and sequestration without voluntary release before the seventh day”, specifies in a press release the public prosecutor from Poitiers, Cyril Lacombe. A first suspect was indicted on Thursday for “kidnapping and forcible confinement not followed by voluntary release”, and placed in pre-trial detention. A third must be presented on Saturday to an examining magistrate.
