Why the Sat.1 show will be called “Couple Love” from 2022

Due to the world situation, the show “Paar Wars” with Ralf Schmitz will now be renamed – the second season will be called “Paar Love”.
The Ralf Schmitz show “Couple Wars” is getting a new name: As Sat.1 announces, the entertainment show will be called “Couple Love” from 2022 due to the current world situation.
Make love, not war!
Moderator Schmitz (47) explains the background to the renaming: “In view of the cruel war in Ukraine, it currently feels wrong to do an entertainment show that has ‘War’ in the title. That’s why our motto for the second season is this year : ‘Make love, not war!'”
In the show, three couples undergo Ralf Schmitz’s relationship tests. The two couples who know each other best advance to the final. There they have the opportunity to win 100,000 euros as the winning couple. Filming for the second season will begin in late May.
