After a first day of mobilization on Thursday January 13 to protest against the health protocols imposed in schools, several national education unions have launched a new call for a strike for Thursday January 20 and 27, reports Le Parisien.
The unions FSU, CGT Educ’Action, FO, Sud Éducation, FCPE, Voix Lycéenne, MNL, FIDL welcome the success of their previous action, but believe that the announcements made by the government are “insufficient”.
The Minister of Education Jean-Michel Blanquer had thus announced the provision of “5 million FFP2 masks” for kindergarten teachers on request and the distribution of surgical masks from the beginning of this week for school staff. ‘education. He had notably announced recruitments, but also the postponement of CP evaluations.
“Mobilization can move the lines but it is largely insufficient”, writes the FSU in a leaflet. The unions are calling, among other things, for the creation of additional positions, “Sufficient protective equipment, well beyond the volumes announced and including for students”, the postponement of specialty tests and an increase in salaries.
