In detail, it emerges from this survey that 43% of people questioned (all categories included) are “very” Where “rather” in favor of vaccination of 5-11 year olds when 39% are there “very” Where “rather” unfavorable and 18% did not speak. The proportion of people who are unfavorable to the vaccination of 5-11 year olds rises to 58% among parents who have at least one dependent child, when 28% are in favor.
Among parents of 5-11 year olds, primarily concerned, the figure is still climbing since two thirds of those polled are therefore unfavorable, 53% of whom are “very unfavorable” and 14% “rather not favorable”, against 23% in favor and 10% without opinion. Finally, mothers appear to be more reluctant (76%) than fathers (54%).
Open since the end of December to all children, vaccination for this age group has started “gently”, recognized this Friday the chairman of the Vaccine Strategy Orientation Council, Alain Fischer, evoking “80-90,000” concerned who have received a first injection or a “little more than 1%”. The latter also regretted that the agreement of both parents, and no longer just one, is now necessary.
