It is currently unclear why the accident occurred around 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday. What is certain, however, is that a Flix bus with 42 passengers and two Ukrainian drivers was traveling towards Judenburg when the vehicle crashed into the guardrail in the Micheldorf area, fell into the ditch and came to rest on its side. Passenger fatally injuredA woman was killed in the accident and numerous injured people were taken to hospital. The passengers are people of various nationalities. “The exact background is still unclear, the investigation is ongoing,” says police press spokeswoman Lisa Sandrieser.
