During the night from Saturday to Sunday, a 20-year-old Pinzgau resident skidded with his car on Mittersiller Strasse due to excessive speed. In the area of a roundabout, he hit a tree head-on, which overturned due to the force of the impact. The car only came to a standstill after 30 meters.
The 20-year-old car driver and his 21-year-old co-driver, who were coming from Niedernsill in the direction of Zell am See, were injured in the traffic accident of an unspecified degree. The rescue team brought them to the Tauern Clinic in Zell am See.
The rescue of the vehicle and the clean-up work at the accident site were carried out by the Niedernsill volunteer fire brigade. An alcohol test by the driver showed zero per mille.
