Crash near Telfs – Two injured in a rear-end collision with three cars

Lots of body damage and two injuries caused a rear-end collision near Telfs in Tyrol on Saturday afternoon. A 57-year-old woman had apparently overlooked the fact that two cars in front of her had slowed down because of pedestrians. Fortunately, three children who were in one of the vehicles were not injured.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m., a Turk (41) living in Austria was in the Telfs municipality on the Möserer Landesstraße in the direction of Seefeld. “The driver braked his car to a standstill because he wanted to allow two pedestrians to cross the road safely”; the police said. Crashed into the rear of the family A 43-year-old local man, who was driving at a safe distance behind him with his wife and three children, also stopped his vehicle. When the pedestrians crossed the street and the two cars drove off again, a 57-year-old Austrian woman crashed her car into the rear of the family. “Due to the force of the impact, the vehicle was pushed onto the vehicle in front of the 41-year-old Turk,” the police said. The vehicles only came to a standstill after about 19 meters. Significant damage to the cars The 57-year-old and the 43-year-old family man were seriously injured in the accident and had to be taken to the hospital in Hall by the ambulance. All other inmates – including the three children – escaped with the shock. “The vehicles involved suffered significant material damage,” emphasizes the executive.
