Mourning prevails in Tyrol after the death of a young man. The 23-year-old had an accident with his motorcycle in Westendorf (Kitzbühel district) last Wednesday – the “Krone” reported. He has now succumbed to his serious injuries.
As the police announced on Monday, the local died on Sunday in the Innsbruck clinic. Days earlier, his light motorcycle had veered off a municipal road in Westendorf and crashed into a concrete fence post. After the fall, he was seriously injured. A passer-by found the seriously injured man around 4 a.m. and informed the emergency services. The motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital. It is unclear how long he had been at the scene of the accident and why the accident happened.
