Residents were awakened by the bang caused by the impact and set the rescue chain in motion, according to the state police in Lower Austria. The fire brigade also responded quickly, but any help came too late. When firefighters arrived, they found two people in the burning car. After the extinguishing and rescue work, the emergency doctor could only determine the death of the teenager and the young man, according to the police. Also, forces of the State Criminal Police Office were deployed to secure traces for the identification.
