Crawling alarm – excitement about exotic tarantula in cemetery

Palm-sized
“The spider was the size of a palm. It was a ‘Brachypelma emilia’ – an orange-leg tarantula that is normally native to Central America. Overall, she was well fed and not very aggressive, ”explains Willi Schnebel, chairman of animal rescue. He suspects that she had just been abandoned at the cemetery, either intentionally or accidentally. “It needs a lot of warmth, but our nights are a little too cool at the moment.”
