Less expensive, the set of four Tapo E27 bulbs, normally sold at €39.99, is currently priced at €29.90.

What is this pack of three Philips connected bulbs?
The Hue range is complete and easy to learn, especially with this starter kit which contains the essentials: three E27 white or colored light bulbs, and the connection bridge essential for operation. You just have to screw the bulbs into your lights, plug the bridge into a wall outlet then connect it to your Wi-Fi router. The Philips Hue app, available on iOS and Android, takes care of the rest. You will find the bridge there as well as your Hue bulbs.
The Philips Hue application allows you to manage your bulbs with your smartphone or tablet. The customization of your lighting is almost endless, and predefined scenes are even present to easily find the ideal lighting ambiance. The voice assistants Google Assistant, Apple Siri and Amazon Alexa are available to control your bulbs by voice. Scheduling functions are present, or even the possibility of managing your lighting when you are away. Note that with the app you can control up to 50 smart lamps.
And these Tapo bulbs?
Tapo brand connected bulbs are ideal for smaller budgets. Another advantage is that they do not need a connection bridge to function. Simply connect them to your Wi-Fi and use the dedicated Tapo app to start configuring them and have fun with the different color shades.
As with the Hue range, they have 16 million colorful shades to find the perfect ambiance, via the application. The latter, less elegant than Philips, is however well designed enough for the settings to be intuitive. You can easily create lighting ambiances and save them. The app is also used to plan your lighting, or to simulate a presence when you are not at home. Voice assistants are also present to control the bulbs by voice.
