Creative Assembly (Alien: Isolation) is developing a new sci-fi FPS – Alien: Isolation

Available since 2014, Alien: Isolation has appealed to many players, whether fans of the Alien license or horror / science fiction games. Moreover, a large part of the community has been hoping for a sequel or a new episode in the series for a few years, but for the moment, Creative Assembly has nothing planned. Nevertheless, the studio is indeed working on a new project, which has been teased by the director of the company.

In an interview with Edge magazine, Gareth Edmondson gave some details about Creative Assembly’s next production, which will be ” a sci-fi FPS “. This new game doesn’t have a name yet and hasn’t been officially announced yet, but we know it’s a new license, which dashed hopes of a new Alien game..

It’s our new IP, and it’s a world that we’re creating, and of course, we’re wringing our hands about it and we really want to get it right. We want to understand what authenticity looks like in a blue ocean or an open sky, when you have a blank page in front of you.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to learn more about the new game from the team behind Alien: Isolation. The last noteworthy clarification is that the game, or at least the project, was launched in 2018. This may therefore mean that Creative Assembly will come back to us soon enough to reveal a little more, in a more official way..
