Creative is beefing up its game in 2022 by presenting a “Pro” version of its true wireless Outlier headphones, always with the ambition of offering a solid experience at a very low price.
Creative’s Outlier line is growing with the arrival of a new “Pro” iteration, which is supposed to embody the best the manufacturer offers in terms of true wireless headphones. With this in mind, the Outlier Pro adopt a slightly different design from the Outlier Air V3, still in “Buds” and in-ear format, but with a design that seems more elongated and massive. If the touch controls, customizable via the companion application, are still in the game, the active noise reduction would have taken a step forward, this time based on a “hybrid” design (presented modestly as “the ultimate“) and an additional microphone per earphone. As always, this function is supported by a mode for listening to surrounding sounds.

The other notable development is in the duration of use: the Outlier indeed promise an extremely generous autonomy of 10 to 15 hours of use per charge of the headphones (with or without ANC), which can go up to 40 – 60 hours. thanks to the three refills dispensed by the carrying case. It is also rechargeable by USB-C or Qi wireless. No change in terms of connectivity compared to the previous model: the Outlier Pro communicate exclusively via Bluetooth 5.2 and support SBC and AAC codecs.

The Outlier Pro will have to prove themselves in the field of sound reproduction, a point which was clearly not the strong point of the previous model marketed by the brand… 10mm. Creative unfortunately does not give more technical details.
